In Artist as a Profession, Chloe Daniels showcases artists who have made the decision to make their creative aspirations their career. Daniels photographed artists between the ages of 17 to 28 years old artists working in creative spaces ranging from their parent’s garage, to a professional studio. These young artists have set aside the idea of a nine-to-five job to focus on making art. To be so totally obsessed with making art, that you decide to pursue it as your livelihood takes dedication to the craft. Daniels aims to create a space for these artists to share their work amidst all the rejection, critique, and uphill battles artists these days face in the pursuit of creating. Artist as a Profession is an ongoing project.
